Arizona schools have a long way to go before they reach funding levels from more than a decade ago. Districts and charters, meanwhile, continue to struggle with teacher shortages.

Make your voices heard on K-12 public school funding and other issues by attending a West Valley education forum next week with Superintendent of Public Instruction Kathy Hoffman.

The forum, titled “A Moment to Act: Investing in Public Education,” is sponsored by The League of Women Voters of NW Maricopa County and community partners and takes place next Thursday. Learn more and discuss ideas for addressing Arizona’s school funding needs.
