Emile’s short-form courses are designed to promote engagement in a digital landscape where scrolling is the norm. By taking best practices from leading consumer technologies and social platforms, Emile is innovating to meet high school students’ evolving learning strategies and needs.
Highly-engaging teachers pulled from students’ favorite social channels present short-form video content, anchored to key concepts. Quizzes and study-guides reinforce learning. Access to a large online community and a roster of seasoned teachers increases interactivity and feedback. Finally, high schoolers have the option to take the courses purely for enrichment (e.g., to help supplement existing high school coursework) or for transcript-level credit.
Through 150 professionals in 29 offices in 22 states, Stifel’s Public Finance professionals specialize in helping state and local government agencies raise capital to build and maintain essential infrastructure in the communities they serve. From some of the nation’s largest public states, cities, and counties to rural school districts and small towns and nearly everything in between, our municipal banking and underwriting groups work with public agencies to develop and implement financing strategies that allow them to operate and optimize the important work they do.
Nationally, Stifel ranks as the top bond underwriter for K-12 public school districts. Our banking professionals serve school districts of diverse size and location, ranging from rural districts composed of a single school facility to some of the nation’s largest school districts in major metropolitan areas. Stifel provides market-driven guidance through every step of a transaction, with the awareness of a school district’s legal framework, policy objectives, and financing constraints. Our experience includes advisory and underwriting as sole, senior, or co-senior underwriter on district transactions for K-12 (public and private). Proceeds are typically raised for construction and/or modernization of capital facilities.
For Arizona K‐12 districts, we are intimately familiar with the financial challenges facing school districts. Stifel provides a distinct advantage over all other firms through superior services marked by fully dedicated Arizona K‐12 banking professionals, school finance consulting expertise and support for clients before and after bond sales, including budget override election services, municipal market and legislative updates, school capital finance updates, bond industry developments, annual reminders, assistance with Arizona School Facilities Board issues, election results and topical client seminars. Stifel is the leading underwriter for Arizona school districts, including a number 1 ranking for both number of and par amount of Arizona K‐12 school district bond issues in 2013 – 2018. Stifel provides coverage of the full range of institutional and individual retail investors who purchase Arizona municipal bonds. With three West Coast underwriting offices in Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, a national network of over 360 retail branch offices and 2,100 brokers, and total capital over $1.2 billion, Stifel is particularly qualified to serve Arizona school districts. We note that most other firms underwrite bonds from offices in New York, Chicago, or other locations.
In Arizona, Stifel and its professionals have a long history of supporting public schools and the various school organizations that serve school districts including AASBO, ASA, ASBA, to name a few. Stifel is excited to become a sponsor and partner with AzALAS.
