Hello, friends & partners.

UnidosUS recognizes that leadership at the state, district, and school levels have multiple considerations for reopening schools, including family outreach, physical and mental health, operations, access to technology, and academics. It is a challenging period for families to navigate a new school year in this time of precarity. UnidosUS has developed a comprehensive list of guiding questions for states and districts as they develop their school reopening plans. We believe families deserve to know this information before sending their children back to school. The resource concludes with S.A.F.E. Critical Action Items for State Education Agencies and School Districts– because optimal wellbeing and academic success go hand-in-hand.

Guides are available in English & Spanish. Please share with your school partners and networks.
