INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOP MARCH 21, 2023                         COURSE CONTENT: The purpose of this workshop is to provide school district staff with an overview and understanding of the Information Technology functions within a public school district. These areas include infrastructure, district staff services/hardware/software, security, customer support, and instructional technology. Review common functions for staffing an information technology department. Provide overview infrastructure requirements to enable technology services. Review critical and other common information technology services. Review security best practices for employees, services, and technology department practices. Review disaster recovery best practices. COURSE FEE: Member Cost: Early Registration $95.00. Registration within 10 days prior to workshop $105.00. Location: Pendergast ESD - PLC  An email will be sent by AASBO the week of the class with information on class updates, materials or information requested by instructor.    PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Successful completion of this workshop will qualify for 6.5 CPE credit hours. You must sign in AM and PM to receive the CPE hours. CPE letter will be emailed after the course once attendance is verified.
