EXCITING NEWS

There’s still time to submit a Donors Choose project and receive up to $1000 in classroom supplies

Greetings,

We are so thrilled that thousands of educators have already submitted projects to be funded by the Arizona Department of Education through our partnership with DonorsChoose. Already, we’ve invested in over 9,000 projects!

Some of the funded projects include:

  • In Prescott Valley, an elementary teacher purchased reading comprehension kits and flashcards to support her 2nd-grade students’ literacy skills.
  • Over in Tucson, a computer science teacher bought three new laptops to ensure all his students had access to one.
  • And a music teacher in Litchfield Park bought new ukuleles to get her 3rd-graders excited and inspired by music education!

All Prek-12 educators are encouraged to apply for these grants while funds remain! School-based professionals like school counselors, social workers, speech-language pathologists, etc., are also eligible to apply. View all eligibility requirements here. Funds are limited, so apply today!

Once your project is funded

If you have already received funding for classroom supplies, congratulations!

After you receive your materials, DonorsChoose will send you a ‘Thank You’ package where you can upload a short essay and photos showing the impact your materials had in your classroom. We encourage those with funded projects to share their story and photos.

Additionally, you can tag the Arizona Department of Education and Superintendent Hoffman on social media to share how this project is impacting your classroom. You can tag @azedschools and @supt_hoffman across all platforms.

Our team is excited to highlight your work!
