Refer Top Low Income High School Juniors for YLS 2022!

Dear Colleague,

The 2022 Young Leaders Summit (YLS) student application is now available!

We encourage you to share this announcement with all high-achieving, low-income, high school juniors in your network who would benefit from this free college empowerment summer program. We also encourage you to refer the students via the link below, which will ensure YLS sends email reminders directly to the student encouraging them to apply.

YLS prepares juniors to successfully apply to their dream colleges and universities, and gain access to financial aid. All program expenses are paid for by YLS, including roundtrip airfare travel, food, campus housing, and materials. It’s 100% free for students!

The application deadline for students is Friday, April 1, 2022, 5:00 PM PT.

To confirm they come from a low-income background, students will be asked to complete the FAFSA4caster as part of their YLS application, a prediction tool to estimate how much federal financial aid they may receive in college. The forecaster does NOT submit any documents to any entity: it simply takes basic information, makes calculations, and provides an estimate, to determine eligibility for the YLS program. You can review this example of what the results will look like.

If you have any questions or need more information, please review our YLS page or contact us.
