Beginning in September, applications will open for $3.4 million in Ninth Grade Success Grant awards for the next four years. The Arizona Department of Education will be sending a letter and launching a landing page with full details. Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to each eligible district or charter school, with awards of at least $150 per ninth grade student enrolled (or projected to be enrolled) during the grant term. The grant will require working with an outside vendor with epertise in ninth grade on track work. This is an important opportunity to access resources that directly support ninth grade success efforts.
